Meg joined the Advent staff team in 2023 and has 25 plus years of experience in ministry, program development and events planning. Prior to coming to Advent, Meg served at several churches in Dallas in both the PCUSA & UMC denominations where she worked as a children & youth director, programs director, local/regional camp director, and head of preschool.
Meg grew
up in North Texas. She attended the University of Arkansas where she
studied for her undergrad degree in Health Science. She has a certification in servant leadership from Cornell Universirty as well as certifications
in non-profit management and social media management, and a Texas state childcare director license. She has been an active
member of Advent since 2012, serving in many worship leadership roles as well as on the church Council. She is now thoroughly enjoying her role on the staff ministry team.
Meg and her husband, Todd, enjoy lots of adventures with their friends and
family, especially their niece Emma, who lives with
them.
