Meg
joined the Advent ministry team in 2023 and has 20 plus years of experience in
program development, events planning, children/youth/adult ministry, childcare
management, and camp/retreat planning. Prior to coming to Advent, Meg served at
several churches in Dallas in both the PCUSA & UMC denominations. Meg grew
up in North Texas and went on to attend The University of Arkansas where she
studied for a B.S. Ed. in Health Science Education. She also has certifications
in non-profit management and social media management. She has been an active
member of the church since 2013, serving in many worship leadership roles and
on council, and is now thoroughly enjoying her new role on the ministry team.
Meg and her husband, Todd, enjoy lots of adventures with their friends and
family, especially their two oldest nieces, Kate & Emma, who live with
them.
