Born and raised in northern Illinois, Ben graduated from Michigan State University with degrees in Music Education and Clarinet Performance. He moved to Dallas in 2020 to attend Southern Methodist University, where he recently completed a Master's degree in Clarinet Performance. In addition to Advent, he serves as organist at Ghanaian Community Presbyterian Church in Irving. An avid teacher, Ben maintains private clarinet and piano studios composed of students of all ages. In his free time, Ben enjoys staying active in nature, trying new foods, and spending time with friends and family.
