Advent Christian Preschool is a non-profit, self-supporting, Christian preschool for children 18 months to 5 years of age. Advent Christian Preschool is licensed by the City of Arlington. Our small class sizes allow children to build a close relationship with teachers and classmates, while receiving a great deal of attention.
Class sizes are typically as follows:
18 mo., 2 & 3 yr olds- 6 to 8 children
Pre-Kindergarten – 8 to 10 children
Advent Christian Preschool provides…
- a diverse curriculum that incorporates biblical teachings, language skills, pre-math skills, sciences, social studies, music and art.
- hands-on experiences to enable the exploration, discovery and problem-solving skills of each child, fostering a positive self-image, self-confidence, independence and a sense of responsibility.
- a creative play setting that encourages group interaction and develops social skills through relationships.
- chapel every school day which includes singing, biblical stories and prayer.
- stimulating activities including games and projects for manipulation and coordination skills.
- a large, safe playground and toys to develop motor sills and physical fitness.
Mission Statement
The purpose of the Advent Christian Preschool program, as a ministry to the community, is to provide a safe and nurturing learning environment for children based on Christian values; while emphasizing their spiritual, physical, emotional, and social development. Our goal is that children upon graduation from our program are socially, emotionally, and academically ready for kindergarten.
