Peyton Strouth is a native of Virginia where he grew up the son and grandson of Pentecostal Ministers. The son and grandson of Pentecostal ministers, Peyton has been involved in church music his whole life and began leading church choirs while in high school. A 2009 graduate of Meadows School of the Arts, Southern Methodist University, he holds a Masters in Music in Choral Conducting as well as a Masters of Sacred Music (2008) from Perkins School of Theology. His undergraduate degree is also in Music, more specifically in Vocal Performance, from West Virginia Wesleyan College.
Peyton has sung and been a soloist Choirs in the US and Europe: Credo Choir, The Orpheus Chamber Singers, the Larry Parsons Chorale, Camerata Appalachia to name a few. Peyton was pleased to be awarded the inaugural Turtle Creek Chorale Choral Conducting Fellowship for their 2008-09 season. Peyton currently serves as the Director of Worship and Music at Christ Lutheran Church in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. during the Covid Covid pandemic he founded a local group - The Luther Virtual Chorale. His professional life is divided between the Church and his personal music studio. He loves spending down time with Bailey, his 11yr old Boxer, working out, reading and watch science fiction and hiking in the mountains.
