Since his time at Advent, Mark has worked in Continuing Professional

Development at UT Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas.  Most recently, his role has been as Clinical Outcomes CE Coordinator.  Ruth also works at UT Southwestern Medical Center assisting with the Program in Ethics in Science and Medicine.  Together, they worship at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church in Ft. Worth and actively participate in various ministries.  Their two sons, who grew up at Advent, are both married and living in Texas: Tim in Pflugerville and Joel in Corpus Christi.
