Darrell Crim

Darrell Crim studied music at North Texas State University School of Music in Denton, TX, and at the Juilliard School of Music in New York City. He composed music for dance companies in NYC and London in the late 1970’s. He was also guest organist for various places in NYC including the Chapel of the United Nations and St. Patrick’s Cathedral.

Returning to Texas, his career included music director and organist for various churches, and teaching music. In the 1990’s he attended UTA, and became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and worked as a mental health therapist in Dallas. Most important of all, Mr. Crim,

was one of Advent’s first organists, serving from December 1984 through May 1986. Mr. Crim is now retired and living in Mansfield, TX with his wife of 44 years, Jody Best. They enjoy traveling and cruising.
