Originally from Arlington, Texa, Pr.Chris grew up in and was confirmed at Advent Lutehran Church. He received his Master of Divinity from the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago. He also has a degree in International Business from Texas Tech University. He currently serives as  pastor at New Hope Luterhan Chuch in Missouri City, Texas. 

Pastor Chris has particular interests in worship and liturgical practice, and how our worship forms our faith. He is also passionate about the intersection of the life of faith and civic engagement, and is interested in the role and voice the church has in public discourse.

Pastor Chris and his wife, Tiffany, enjoy cooking, traveling, spending time with friends and family, and brunch. Pastor Chris also enjoys playing any percussion instrument and brewing beer.
