The school bells are silent. Same with alarm clocks – mornings are a little more peaceful. No slowing for flashing school bus lights or school zones. Ahhhh . . . the end of another school year. What better time to start thinking of the coming school year! Yes, our annual Back-to-School ministry is starting up.
Every year Advent teams up with Mission Arlington to help those in our community who need assistance with children’s school clothes. This is a wonderful ministry that glorifies God’s work in our community.
You can help with a monetary donation, or by offering to help shop and/or deliver items. Simply sign up on the CoS sheets and/or drop a check in the offering plate, marked Back-to-School. If you have questions, please call Jane Owens at 817.483.6080.
